New 'Never Say Never' Clip Shows Justin Bieber Singing With Fan

The 'Director's Fan Cut' teaser captures the teen sensation performing an acoustic version of 'Baby' with a young girl.

Earlier this week, "Never Say Never" director Jon Chu promised MTV News that his new "Director's Fan Cut" of Justin Bieber's 3-D flick would deliver 40 minutes of fresh footage, including different songs (such as "Favorite Girl"), some more shirtless shots of the teen singer ("Maybe some abs!") and extra scenes of him interacting with fans.

With the recut movie hitting theaters on Friday (February 25), Paramount Pictures has released a clip showing just that: the Biebs hanging out with some of his young fanatical followers. The 71-second promo shows Bieber — pre-haircut, of course — at an intimate gathering in Phoenix. While the pop star gives an acoustic performance on a small stage, his fans beg him to play "Baby," but he jokes, "I don't know that song."

He then declares to a very young fan, "I'll only sing 'Baby' if you come up here and sing it with me." Cue the cuteness. The girl sits on his lap and together they belt out the hit single.

This isn't the first time we've seen Bieber show off an easy, breezy way with his youngest fans. Last year, he popped up on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" to surprise a 3-year-old Belieber named Cody who'd become an Internet sensation after her sister posted a video of her crying over the teen heartthrob on YouTube. As he tweeted later, "Makin faces with Cody!"

The re-released "Never Say Never" represents an effort both to goose box-office receipts three weeks after the film's initial opening and to feed the Beliebers' seemingly insatiable appetite for anything and everything connected to the star.

"We originally had a two-and-a-half-hour version of the movie, which we obviously couldn't release," Chu explained to us. "So we started to think about putting stuff back in that didn't have to do with our story but that we knew people would love."

James Franco and Anne Hathaway kicked off the Oscars with a pre-recorded tour through the year's best film nominees, then they took the stage for a few live jokes. Their families even got in the act, with Anne's mother standing up in the crowd to tell her to stand up straight, and James's occasionally foul-mouthed grandmother expressing her excitement at "seeing Marky Mark!" Tom Hanks was on hand to announce a few early winners, then Kirk Douglas presented the best actress in a supporting role honor to a truly surprised Melissa Leo. Her speech was heartfelt after a grueling award season, though she caused the censors some alarm by uttering the F-word. She later, though, apologized profusely for the slipup. Justin Timberlake and best-dressed Mila Kunis announced the animated awards before Javier Bardem and Josh Brolin stepped out in matching white jackets to present Aaron Sorkin with best adapted screenplay for The Social Network and further writing honors to the man behind The King's Speech. Anne Hathaway ditched her dress for a pantsuit to joke with Hugh Jackman during a musical number, and James Franco dressed as Marilyn Monroe, pink gown, blond hair and all, to introduce Helen Mirren and Russell Brand. A stunning Giorgio Armani clad Reese Witherspoon stepped out to open the envelope containing the name of the best actor in a supporting role winner - Christian Bale won for his role in The Fighter, and after giving a shout-out to the real-life Dicky Ecklund, he teared up when telling his wife she's his mast in the storm of his life. Fellow Australians Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman were up next as presenters, followed by Scarlett Johansson and Matthew McConaughey handing out the best sound mixing honors. Anne enjoyed many costume changes and wore seven glamorous gowns, everything from Valentino to Lanvin, and weigh in on which was her best!

Mandy Moore was soon on stage, having changed from her gold Monique Lhuillier into a strapless blue number, to perform a track from Tangled nominated for best original song with her costar Zachary Levi -�Gwyneth Paltrow later sang a number from Country Strong, but Randy Newman ended up taking honors for his music in Toy Story 3. Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal teamed up to present the best short honors before the much-anticipated Twilight moment, which was an auto-tuning the movies and our favorite Twilight stars. Sherlock Holmes buddies Jude Law and Robert Downey Jr. joked about RDJ's checkered past together on stage, then Celine Dion took the stage to sing during the "In Memoriam" montage.

Subtle sparkling Halle Berry had the microphone afterward to say a special tribute to legendary actress Lena Horne. The big awards came quickly next, with Tom Hooper clinching directing honors for The King's Speech and mentioning that he shares "a triangle of man love" with his stars Colin Firth and Geoffrey Rush. Jeff Bridges presented Natalie Portman with her best actress statue, and the Black Swan star tearfully thanked her "love" Benjamin Millepied for giving her the best role yet - becoming a mother. Sandra Bullock handed off the best actor gold man to Colin Firth, who managed to repress his urge to dance long enough to get out his words of thanks. Love for his movie kept coming, as it even picked up the best picture! New Led Zeppelin On The Way? Jason Bonham Hints At 'Jam' Sessions With Jimmy Page -- But Not Robert Plant

Drummer admits he doesn't know what will come of 'new material.'

On Friday morning, mere hours before he was due to take the stage with classic rockers Foreigner at Detroit's GM Renaissance Center, drummer Jason Bonham — the son of late Led Zeppelin kitman John Bonham — told Jim Johnson and Lynne Woodison of local rock station 94.7 WCSX that he'd be an ex-member of Foreigner as of September 1. But that's not the only thing he said.

Much to the delight of Led Zeppelin fans everywhere, Bonham revealed that he's been meeting up with Led Zep guitarist Jimmy Page and bassist John Paul Jones in recent months and that they've been "trying to do some new material and writing."

It was the first time since Led Zeppelin announced they would re-form for a single performance (which happened late last year at London's O2 Arena, in honor of the late Ahmet Ertegün, who signed the band to Atlantic Records in 1969) that anyone connected to the band has confirmed publicly that new music could be on the horizon for the iconic rockers. While the bandmembers have stopped short of definitively ruling out such a reunion, singer Robert Plant insisted in the wake of last year's show that he intended to focus on promoting and touring behind his critically lauded album with bluegrass artist Alison Krauss, Raising Sand.

Not that Bonham knows what — if anything — will happen with the new material he's been working on with Page (who collaborated with pop singer Leona Lewis on an uneven version of Zep's "Whole Lotta Love" at the Olympic closing ceremonies in Beijing on Sunday night) and Jones. He said he just shows up and takes his seat behind the kit.

"I've been over [to England] a couple of times," Bonham said. "I've been working with Jimmy and John Paul and trying to do ... some new material and some writing. I don't know what it will be, but it will be something. At the moment, all I know is I have the great pleasure to go and jam with the two guys and start work on some material. When I get there, I never ask any questions. If I get a phone call to go and play, I enjoy every moment of it. Whatever it ends up as, to ever get a chance to jam with two people like that, it is a phenomenal thing for me. It's my life. It's what I've dreamed about doing."

He said it's still too early to tell what will become of these "jam" sessions, but admitted that the "possibility of doing something is in the cards. I really felt it was in the cards from the moment we walked offstage at the O2." Bonham also explained that, before there could be a Led Zep LP, "lots of politics [would need to] get ironed out," but added that recording with Zep is "something I've always wanted to do."

Bonham noticeably didn't mention frontman Plant's name during the discussion. A spokesperson for Page's management had no comment on the matter, and a spokesperson for Jones' management could not be reached by press time.

Christina Applegate: My Daughter Will Not Be a Child Star!

Christina Applegate might have gotten her acting career started at a young age, but the new mom insists her baby will not be a child star. In an interview with E! Online, Applegate gave a definitive "No!" when asked whether her 1-month-old daughter Sadie Grace would be following in mom's footsteps.

"She's allowed to study, and if she wants to take acting or dance classes she's allowed to," the first-time mom said. "But I have a very strong 'no' when it comes to monetary exchange for your talents until she's 18."

At just 3 months old, Applegate made her TV debut opposite her mother, Nancy Lee Priddy, on the popular soap opera Days of Our Lives. The actress continued to work through childhood, taking her first movie role (in the awesomely named Jaws of Satan) at age 7, and tackling guest-starring roles in '80s sitcoms like Charles in Charge, Silver Spoons and Family Ties. At 16, Applegate got her big break, landing the role of ditzy Kelly Bundy on Married... With Children.

Today, the 39-year-old actress says that the birth of Sadie -- whose name is part of a growing trend of Granny-chic baby names -- "healed me" and "opened my whole soul." Applegate also credits Sadie with helping her move past the trauma of being diagnosed with breast cancer and having to get a double mastectomy.

When the glowing new mom was asked whether or not she's already making plans to expand her family, she quickly answered: "No! I'm a month in. This is all I can handle right now!"

You've seen him at the NBA All-Star Game. You've seen him at the Grammys. You might have even seen him in concert. But the next place you see Cee Lo Green could be the craziest, most-unlikely place of all: "Between the moon and New York City"?

The crooner has possibly been tapped to cover "Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)" for the Russell Brand- and Helen Mirren-starring "Arthur" remake, co-star Greta Gerwig revealed exclusively to MTV News on the red carpet at the Independent Spirit Awards, where she was nominated for Best Female Lead for her performance in "Greenberg."

"I think Cee Lo might be doing something with it — I'm not kidding!" the 27-year-old actress enthused of the outrageous-on-the-face-of-it cover. "I met him at a screening the other day."

Referring to his Grammy duet, Gerwig joked that she hoped Cee Lo might even find room for one of his more-recent collaborators: "We were thinking Gwyneth Paltrow too!" she said, laughing.

Written by Christopher Cross, Burt Bacharach, Peter Allen and Carole Bayer Sager and performed by Cross, the often-mocked original won both the Golden Globe and Oscar for Best Original Song in 1981. It also reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Directed by Jason Winer, "Arthur" opens nationwide April 8.

Producer Bangladesh's biggest break came when he powered Lil Wayne's "A Milli." Then he upped the ante on Weezy's recent release "6 Foot 7 Foot." So, what does the Grammy-nominated beatsmith have in store for the new year? More of the same, actually.

Bangladesh hopes to continue his genre-bending ways, whether it's lending rock-leaning sensibilities to Lil Wayne or injecting a pop star's work with edgy hip-hop drums. He and Dr. Luke (Britney Spears, Pink, Katy Perry) recently worked together on Ke$ha's "Sleazy," from her Cannibal LP.

"I met Luke through a mutual friend, so it was like me walking into a stranger's house," Bangladesh told MTV News. "I really didn't know what to expect. But it was all love. It was kind of like the roles were reversed, like I was the biggest producer and he just had a couple of hits. Once I saw how he felt about me, I was like man, I might be the truth. [He laughs.]"

After hitting it off, they joined forces for "Sleazy," the first of many collaborations Bangladesh is shooting for with the "Tik Tok" star.

"That's a good look, because it gives her a whole new look and it shows how creative I am," he explained. "It shows how music is changing. And it shows that I'm kind of the changer behind it. The leader. I'm trying to mix the different genres where it's still convincing, like, I believe them doing this."

Jon M. Chu says teen star is 'learning how to interact with people.'

MTV News first interviewed Justin Bieber in September of 2009, when the pint-size pop singer was on the cusp of breaking beyond his core audience into mainstream pop stardom. Then 15 years old and relatively new to the national media spotlight, Bieber wasn't nervous so much as generally tentative, a bit clipped and repetitive in his answers.

When Bieber walked into the MTV Newsroom earlier this month to promote the difference in his on-camera demeanor couldn't have been more different: He projected a breezy confidence, at times humorous or eye-on-the-prize focused, and was engaging throughout.

That Bieber has truly matured — not just as an artist, but as a person — isn't apparent only to those who occasionally cross his path. Jon M. Chu, who directed and began working with the singer in August, has noticed the change as well.

"With the movie and going to the Grammys and being respected on so many different levels beyond just his own fanbase, he's really growing up and learning how to interact with people," Chu said.

The director said he noted a great difference in the young star's disposition following the completion of his seven-month, 86-show tour.

"He's just had time to rest," said Chu, who started shooting "Never Say Never" as Bieber was in the midst of that nonstop North American tour. At first, Bieber was standoffish. Only gradually did the two establish a close creative partnership.

"Half of it was just me gaining trust with him because I was in his face with a camera," Chu said. "It was very much like 'Almost Famous,' where I was just on the bus and he didn't really want me there. Once we got past that, we were fine."

'Drive Angry': The Reviews Are In!

Should you hit the road with Nicolas Cage? See what the critics have to say.

"Drive Angry" marks three-straight supernatural films for Nicolas Cage, though each could not be more different. "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" was a Disney-driven tale of magical realism. "Season of the Witch" dove into the intersection of medieval black magic and campy B-movie wackiness. And "Drive Angry" literally begins with Cage driving a muscle car straight outta hell with the devil's henchman fast on his heels and doesn't slow down as it splashes blood and fire across the screen.

All three flicks share something else in common: below-average reviews. "Sorcerer's" and "Season" each went on to conjure up lukewarm box-office receipts. Can "Drive Angry" break the spell? Check out what the critics are saying and decide if the new 3-D film is the right choice for you this weekend.

The Story
"[It] may be a bit too slickly self-aware for its own good, but it's also rivetingly paced, outrageously funny and makes retina-scorching use of the new 3D technology. Nicolas Cage is on teeth-baring, eye-rolling form as John Milton (nice), the deceased felon who busts out of hell to track down the Southern death cult who kidnapped his baby granddaughter. Hooking up with mouthy muscle-car-driving white-trash waitress Piper (Amber Heard), Milton sets off in pursuit, all the while attempting to avoid the attentions of Satan's right-hand man, The Accountant (a majestically arch William Fichtner)." -- Tom Huddleston, Time Out

Crazy Nic Cage
"A little respect, if you please, for His Satanic Majesty Nicolas Cage. Nobody goes off the deep end like Nic. Nobody gives better value in bad movies than the sleepy-eyed Oscar winner with a gift for picking bad movies. 'Drive Angry' is a very entertaining B, C or D-movie, an over-the-top and in-your-face grindhouse gore, guns and 'Gun it' picture that's about epic shootouts, bone-snapping brawls, bare breasts and muscle cars. The gunplay is funny and the sex hilarious in this 'Ghost Rider is Gone in 60 Seconds' mashup." -- Roger Moore, Orlando Sentinel

The 3-D
" 'Drive Angry' is intensely bloody, violent and carries quite a few payoffs that are well delivered. It's also a movie you'd actually want to see in 3-D, unlike so many frauds in the marketplace these days. In fact, Lussier, who directed 'My Bloody Valentine 3D,' shows his growth as a 3-dimensional director by taking 'Drive Angry' to new heights. Seeing it in Real D, the depth was astounding, and Lussier throws a few CGI tricks right in the viewer's face. Even more impressive was his flashback sequence that could easily become one of the most influential in the 3-D age (the way he layers three 'thoughts' at once is mind-blowing visually). Going Grindhouse
" 'Drive Angry' is loud and busy, and it's rarely boring. But it's also never really good. Ke$ha Sued By Former Managers

DAS Communications' lawyer claims producer Dr. Luke convinced her to breach contract.

Ke$ha is being sued by her former managers at DAS Communications for upwards of $14 million, Ken Freundlich, who is representing DAS in the case, confirmed to MTV News.

"DAS was Ke$ha's manager since the beginning of 2006, and there was a written agreement, and they worked closely, and sometime in September 2008 [producer] Dr. Luke, for his own personal gain, somehow induced her to breach that contract," Freundlich said. "And she unceremoniously terminated DAS without justification and then ended up with Luke, basically. So we sued Ke$ha for breach of contract and Luke for interference, and that was last year, and the defense's reaction was to try and delay us. They made motions.

"The judge denied all their motions, and now we're going forward. We're going to have our day in court," he continued. "And we're going to prove that Dr. Luke induced her to breach the contract. She had no right to do so, and we're gonna get damages from her."

Freundlich explained how he and his team came to the $14 million sum, explaining, "We don't know exactly how much, but we assume it's in that range. She's been quite successful. The case is set. It's gonna go on the rest of this year. We're gonna go straight to the trial if we have to."

Ke$ha has filed a suit in California against the management team, but Freundlich is confident nothing will come of her claim that they acted as an "illegal talent agent." "That's pending out in California. Even though that case is still pending, I don't think it has any merit," he said.

Calls to Ke$ha's legal team and rep were not returned to MTV News by press time.

Topher Grace Recalls His Lucky Sprain On 'When I Was 17'

The star of 'Take Me Home Tonight' explains how he stumbled into acting as a teen.

Before Topher Grace became a household name as the lovably discomfited Eric on "That '70s Show," he was just another teenager looking for something to do. On the upcoming episode of MTV's "When I Was 17," the star of "Take Me Home Tonight" (which hits theaters next week) recalls his big break, which surprisingly stemmed from a turn in his high-school play.

"When I was 17, I made the varsity tennis team, and I wound up spraining my ankle twice, so I couldn't do that that spring," Grace mentions in the upcoming episode. The former athlete tried out for the lead role in his high school's production of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," a part he didn't expect to land.

"I really didn't think I'd get it. There were some kids who were really great actors, and I still maintain that they were better actors then I am," Grace humbly notes.

Turns out, Topher's theatrical turn would change his life as he knew it. "So the crazy thing about that play is this girl who was a friend of mine — her parents were big-time Hollywood producers. They wrote for 'Saturday Night Live,' they wrote 'Wayne's World' and 'Tommy Boy,' and they came up to me after the play and said, 'We'll call you at some point,' " Grace recalls.

But the actor misinterpreted the thrilling news, thinking he was being pursued to go on coffee runs instead of auditions. "I thought they needed a P.A. on one of their shows, so I said something really stupid."

Topher's pal Gordon remembered the error, too: "He was like, 'Yeah sure, baby. I'll have my people call your people,' "

Fast-forward nine months later, and the big-time producers had an opportunity for the actor that he almost couldn't believe. "They called me and they said, 'We're making a sitcom about the '70s.' I still thought they wanted an assistant, but they said, 'Oh no, we want you to audition.' "

Turns out this little sitcom just happened to be the massive hit that launched Grace's career.

Oscar Preview: David Fincher Vs. Tom Hooper For Best Director

Though 'King's Speech' is the established front-runner, 'Social Network' director may be more deserving of Academy Award.

Can we begin speaking about the Best Director race by shouting out a man whose mug won't be thrust up on the screen when the Academy Award category is presented on Sunday night? Would that be dredging up sour — at this point, moldy — grapes? Too bad!

Let's kick off this installment of MTV News' Oscar previews by stating something that should not be forgotten: "Inception" director Christopher Nolan got robbed. Dude made maybe the brainiest popcorn flick in history — one whose story shifted between five separate realities, yet managed both to avoid being excessively confusing and to reward further viewings. It grossed over $820 million worldwide and earned Nolan directorial nods from the Golden Globes, Directors Guild of America and British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA). And yet, no directorial Oscar nod? Please! A Best Picture nomination at the Oscars is welcome, surely, but simply not enough. Mr. Nolan, we'll pour one out for you and continue on with the preview.

That snub aside, only two directors ever really had a chance to triumph in this category — Tom Hooper for "The King's Speech" and David Fincher for "The Social Network" — and on Oscar night, either one could win.

In Hooper's favor is the fact that "The King's Speech" has established itself as the general front-runner, leading the field with 12 Oscar nominations and dominating the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Producers Guild Awards and the DGAs, among others. The DGAs are historically a very accurate predictor of the Best Director winner at the Oscars; only six times has the DGA winner failed to win the Oscar, most recently in 2002 when Rob Marshall ("Chicago") won the DGA but lost out to Roman Polanski ("The Pianist") for the Oscar. What's more, Oscar blogger Sasha Stone points out that only once before — with "Gladiator" in 2000 — has a Best Picture winner with 12 nominations lost out on the Directing award. So if we accept that "The King's Speech" is a lock to win Best Picture, we'd be taking on serious odds if we argued Hooper will lose to Fincher.

Our heads, then, tell us Hooper will come out on top. Yet our hearts keep telling us the "Social Network" director will end up the victor. Not because he won the BAFTA. Not because we think voters don't have a vested interest in punishing Fincher for declining to endure the tiresome glad-handing traditionally expected of nominees and instead going off to shoot "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" in Scandinavia. No, we have a feeling Fincher is going to eke out a win because he's the most deserving nominee.

Like Nolan, Fincher weaved together several different realities — in his case, one Harvard-based present and two lawsuit-consumed flash-forwards — gracefully and without a touch of audience bewilderment. Credit, of course, also has to go to scribe Aaron Sorkin and editors Angus Wall and Kirk Baxter (all of whom are nominated in their respective categories), but Fincher is a known control freak and, in the end, "The Social Network" is his baby. His storytelling facility combined with his movie's au courant theme of digital, often insincere interconnection at the expense of compassion and true relationship-building make for a potent combination.

With "The King's Speech" and "The Fighter" potentially dominating the major categories, voters might well decide "The Social Network" deserves some top-tier love in the form of a Fincher win. In fact, we're going to take a risk, avoid any fence-sitting and call it: David Fincher will win this year's Oscar for Best Director.

'I Am Number Four': The Reviews Are In!

Sci-fi flick might not be treading new ground, but it's sure to make a box-office impact.

This weekend brings the year's first major sci-fi release to the multiplex, and audiences should be flocking to it after weeks of tepid rom-coms and half-baked horror flicks. "I Am Number Four," though weakly reviewed, stands to win the top spot at the box office over the four-day holiday.

"Unknown" and "Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son," alas, don't stand a chance. Which one is right for you? Or, perhaps, is now the time to avoid the new offerings and hit the Oscar faves ahead of next weekend's Academy Awards? Check out what the critics are saying about "I Am Number Four" and decide for yourself.

The Story
"Since space creatures don't arrive with the traditional backstories of vampires and werewolves, the story of extraterrestrial conflict and teenage longing requires a little setup. John Smith (Alex Pettyfer), a new transfer student to the high school in Paradise, Ohio, arrives with more than the usual adolescent baggage. He is one of a handful of children surviving a space war. His ancestors, the people of Lorien, were all but exterminated by the evil Mogadorians. The remaining nine fled to Earth, where their Abercrombie & Fitch looks make them stand out while trying to blend in. The Mogadorians, a black-trench-coat Mafia with bald heads and tribal tattoos, are on their trail, out to finish the genocide. They already have killed Numbers One, Two and Three. The "Twilight" Comparison
" 'I Am Number Four,' the appealing new kid-on-the-teen-angst block, reverberates with much of the same dark combustible mix of action and romance that's been fueling the 'Twilight' vampire mega-franchise for a while now. The issues of the heart have shifted from the undead to the otherworldly, and the battles have been amped up considerably, but its fate still rests on the basic boy-meets-girls story, which frankly could use a bit more bite." — Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times

The Action
"The screenplay by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar — adapting the young adult novel by James Frey and Jobie Hughes — works a few surprises into the familiar high school scenario; an action scene set at a haunted house goes in some unexpected directions, and the more we learn about Number Four's outer space world, the stranger and more entertaining it gets (that pet beagle is not what he seems). But as 'I Am Number Four' ramps up toward the inevitable third-act fireballs and fights, any out-there appeal gets washed out by lots of CGI and pretty girls walking slowly away from explosions (Teresa Palmer, who shows up late as the alien Number Six, makes for a great bad-girl black swan to [Dianna] Agron's buttoned-up Sarah). By the end it's even turned into a kind of 'Spider-Man' knockoff, a young man standing in a graveyard, contemplating the meaning of his newfound great power and responsibility." — Katey Rich, Cinema Blend

The Dissenters
" 'I Am Number Four' is mostly a missed opportunity. The film plugs into some genuine teen angst and identity confusion that might have dovetailed nicely with its sci-fi elements. Instead these two realities, a high school with its many melodramas and aliens chasing each other around the country, operate on parallel tracks. At times it feels like the reels from two very different movies got mixed up in the projection booth. The idea here is nifty; the execution mostly pedestrian." — Kirk Honeycutt, The Hollywood Reporter

The Final Word
" 'I Am Number Four' is a well-made, reasonably diverting night at the multiplex that will seem overly familiar to everyone except teenage girls. It'll be a retread to them, too, but that's why they'll like it — a sci-fi/fantasy drama that's moody and broody to the point of occasional near-coma, 'Number Four' represents an acceptable holding action until the next installment of 'Twilight' rolls around." — Ty Burr, Boston Globe

Lady Gaga's Fans Call Her A 'Source Of Inspiration'

On Tuesday night, Lady Gaga's little monsters filed into Madison Square Garden for her second of two nights at the storied New York venue. Her fans talked to MTV News about the impact Mother Monster has had on their lives, and many said she gives them the courage to be who they truly are.

"I think that Lady Gaga, for me, has given me a new source of inspiration. And she's so creative ... you have to have some sort of reaction to that," Frank said outside MSG. "And, for me, it's a positive one."

Donning an outrageous outfit, little monster Ricky joked that Gaga has recently done two things for him: "She made us broke, and she reminds us to be ourselves."

Kevin explained that in a world as vapid as pop can be, Gaga serves as a reminder that true art can be created. "As a music fan, I think it's fantastic that we finally have someone else now to be, like, all about a great message and great music," he said. "She writes her own music, which you don't get anymore."

"Lady Gaga's fantastic," Michael chimed in. "Again, as an artist, she's really proven that you can be who you want to be and do what you wanna do and really succeed with it."

Gaga's connection to her art is what seems to really stick with some fans. "I think Lady Gaga has affected everyone personally," Garrett explained, "because I think she's shown the whole artistry of it and making pop culture and art one and one again."

In between all the chatter about her devotion to her music and her craft, one fan noted that Lady Gaga just makes it fine to wear wacky wigs. "She totally made me buy this yellow wig," Gabriella said. "Without her, I never would have bought it. I'm not even lying."
