My sister recently had a talk with my four-year-old nephew Jack about strangers. Here's how it went:

Beyonce Talks Pregnancy Cravings on '20/20'
Singer says people keep trying to give her hot sauce and pickles.

Root Beer, chicken wings, pickle juice, donuts, mac and cheese. Pregnant women have all kinds of odd cravings, but in an interview slated to air on Friday night on "20/20," Beyoncé told interviewer Katie Couric that she hasn't had those typical late-night urges during her pregnancy.
"Not really anything crazy," B told Couric. "I've read that I like ketchup on everything," she added, saying that the rumor is not true. And when Couric tried to confirm other Internet whispers about what the singer is allegedly making hubby Jay-Z rush out to the corner bodega for at 2 in the morning, Beyoncé said the wildest one is also not true.
"I also read that you like ice cream with hot chili sauce," Couric said. "Yeah, that's very strange," responded Beyoncé, who was dressed in flowing purple pants with a white pattern, a black leather jacket and black pregnancy top with a subtle blue design. "Is that true?" Couric pressed.
"No it is not. I was on a plane and the flight attendant came and was like, 'I have your hot sauce and pickles and bananas.' I was like, 'That is absolutely disgusting, what are you doing?' He's like, 'I read it on the Internet.' "
When Couric asked the question everyone wants to know, whether she should get the singer a pink or blue baby gift, Beyoncé smiled and put her finger up to her mouth and gave a coy, "hmmm."
In another segment, Couric and Beyoncé take a stroll past New York's Roseland Ballroom, where the pop icon played the four shows earlier this year that became the subject of her just-released "Live at Roseland" DVD . "When I was here it was raining and there were thousands of people in their coats and umbrellas waiting outside for hours," she said of the summertime shows. "Which always feels a little overwhelming because I'm like, 'I hope I give them enough.' But everyone had a great time."

Britney Spears 'Gets A Kick Out Of Fist Pumping,' Pauly D Says
'Jersey Shore' star teases his gig with Spears this weekend in Puerto Rico.

Pauly D has a lot of experience playing shows with Britney Spears. He not only opened for her in Las Vegas earlier this year during the taping of her "I Am the Femme Fatale" MTV special, but he later hit the road with Spears for her Femme Fatale tour.
So opening for the princess of pop as she wraps up her world tour this weekend won't be too difficult for the "Jersey Shore" star. He's slated to appear with her on December 10 in Puerto Rico. It's the very last stop on the months-long, sprawling trek around the globe.
Since Pauly last hit the road with pop's ultimate femme fatale, he told MTV News that he has been keeping in touch with his pal. "Yeah [we keep in contact], oh yeah, for sure," he said. "A lot of tweets."
While Pauly played it coy during our chat about the upcoming gig, he did give us just enough hints to let us know that the show is indeed all set for Saturday. "There's rumors; rumors have it that I might be on that tour," he joked. "I'm not sure. I'd love to. I hope so. I like Puerto Rico and it's nice this time of year."
Is there any chance that Britney might make an appearance on Pauly's in-the-works solo reality show while he's out there with her? "She's busy. She's really busy and I'd love to link up with her and get her on this 'cause doing her tour, that was another dream for me, to do an artist's tour. I've been a fan of Britney my whole life, so it's been great for me."
"She was happy for me," he continued. "She was like, 'Oh you're going to be fist pumping on the show.' She gets a kick out of the fist pumping."
If that appearance doesn't pan out, DJ Pauly D needn't worry too much. He just announced his deal with 50 Cent's G-Note Records, a step that should help to take his DJ career to the next level. 50 spoke to MTV News about the deal earlier this week, teasing some big things.
"Pauly's project is not all his performance on the actual records," Fif explained of the "hit record" he hopes to make with the DJ, set for release in 2012. "It's more like what you would get from a DJ Khaled or DJ Drama but also what you would get from David Guetta — so it's a cross between those two worlds, and I think it's exciting."
Fans of Pauly D are also pumped for the latest season of his hit MTV series "Jersey Shore." Just this week, a season 5 trailer dropped and there seems to be enough drama, GTL and smushing to go around for everyone.
"There was a lot of tension in [Italy], because we were away from our friends, away from our family, so all we had was each other — that's it," Pauly said. "So now we literally ran to Jersey, because we missed it so much, and we just shared that bond, because we've been there before, so we enjoyed it with everybody this year. It was really one of my best years, I think."

Taylor Lautner Talks Fight Scene in ?Abduction?
He?s definitely easy on the eyes, but it turns out Taylor Lautner was quite tough on one of his ?Abduction? costars.
The ?Twilight Saga: New Moon? stud told press that he accidentally clocked his fighting partner during a scene in his solo flick.
Lautner explained, "It was all for real, which is great and involved a lot of training. We weren't wearing gloves, so if one of us messes up, we're literally getting punched with a bare fist -- and that did end up happening once. I felt so bad."
Taylor connected with Ilia Volok accidentally. "I hit him in that sweet spot. He was such a good sport about it. He was totally fine, thankfully."
Kardashian Family Alleged to Use "Slave Labor" in China
Certainly not welcome news to their big dollar business endeavors, the Kardashian family has been linked to utilizing sweatshop labor to produce their merchandise.
According to breaking reports, Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and the rest of the family's enterprise is being investigated by a human rights group for "slave labor" like conditions in China.
Sources tell that workers as young as 16-years-old are being forced to do their jobs in factories "reeking of stench" with temperatures above the 100 degree mark.
The laborers are reportedly paid as little as $1/hour while putting in 84 hour weeks - with the Kardashian clan pulling in around $65 million/year from the sales of their K-Dash by Kardashian label, the Kris Jenner Kollection and ShoeDazzle.
Responding to the allegations, family matriarch Kris Jenner told TMZ, "As far as I know the factories that are used to manufacture the Kardashian clothing and shoes have nothing terrible going on at all and the factories are very well policed and meet factory standards."

'Breaking Dawn - Part 1' Is Our #2 Newsmaker Of 2011
Penultimate 'Twilight' film was about more than just Bella and Edward's first time.

One doesn't need Alice Cullen's powers of prognostication to foretell fang-tastic returns for "The Twilight Saga."
Four years in, and the success of the franchise is a foregone conclusion. To wit, the penultimate film in the series, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1," has grossed more than $600 million worldwide since its November release and even set a new record by becoming the first installment to top the box office three weekends in a row. And it also landed at #2 on MTV News' Top Newsmakers of 2011 list, falling short only to Lady Gaga.
It'd be tempting to chalk up this particular installment's massive appeal to one little (though very loaded) word: sex. As any avowed Twilighter will tell you, "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" marks the first time Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson) do it, a titillating plot point that Summit Entertainment's marketing department took full advantage of. In fact, the very first promotional image for the flick, released in late 2010, was a close-cropped photo of Bella clutching a fistful of rogue feathers that had escaped a pillow during the couple's first romp. Then there was that much-talked-about publicity still released in January, showing a moodily lit Bella and Edward in flagrante. And, of course, the topic was a hot talking point during the film's many promotional stops.
"It's not just human sex. It's ... obviously blown a little bit out of proportion, slightly. It's kind of like the most important scene in the movie. It's so weird," Stewart told MTV News during "MTV First: Breaking Dawn - Part 1."
For co-star Pattinson, the discussion reached near-absurd levels. "It is kind of disgusting," he said with a laugh during the "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" red carpet. "It's weird. I feel like I'm going a little bit crazy."
"Crazy" certainly describes the level of fan frenzy surrounding this pivotal scene, but as riveting as flying feathers and breaking headboards can be, "Breaking Dawn - Part 1" was about more than just sex. It marked the realization of Bella's — and the audience's — hopes and dreams for the mortal and the immortal who loved her. The couple walked down the aisle, as friends and family (and author Stephenie Meyer) watched, with tears in their eyes and love in their hearts. The two consummated their relationship, in the process conceiving a baby they didn't think possible. (Even vampires can achieve the American dream, it seems.) And, in the film's closing moments, near death, Bella becomes what she had always wanted to be: a vampire who could spend eternity with her soul mate.
Though Twilighters have one final film to look forward to in 2012, it's hard not to feel some sense of finality as Forks' fictional residents achieve these rites of passage. The monumentality certainly wasn't lost on the actors. "It was very, very emotional for me," Stewart said of shooting the wedding scene.
Saying goodbye is hard to do, but thankfully, we have 11 months to work up the courage.

'The Dark Knight Rises' Trailer: Burning Questions
What's with Bruce Wayne's cane, and did Catwoman steal Mrs. Wayne's pearls?

If you're able to tear yourself away from the new theatrical trailer for "The Dark Knight Rises," you should be applauded. The two-minute trailer packs so much goodness in that it can be hard to focus on anything else.
Other fans like you have already begun to post detailed trailer analyses and lists of supposed Easter eggs trying to unlock every secret the new preview holds. We have a few questions of our own that need answering, so here is our list of the burning questions from the "Dark Knight Rises" theatrical trailer.
What's with the cane? The trailer doesn't come right out and say it, but it doesn't take much scrutinizing to see that Bruce Wayne walks with a cane in two scenes. Early in the trailer, you can see Bruce and his cane reflected in the cloche and from the side as he passes the camera. He also appears to be favoring one side during the masquerade scenes with Selina Kyle and Miranda Tate. It's hard to imagine Nolan choosing to feature Bane as the main villain and neglecting to make reference to the act he's most famous for, breaking Batman's back. The cane could signal some manifestation of the moment from "Knightfall."
Are there two Robin references in the trailer? The blogosphere blew up Monday with theories that the stadium scene features two references to the Boy Wonder, thus confirming his presence in the movie, but both have been sufficiently debunked. Whether you noticed the first depended on whether you follow the NFL. When fans saw that the player who outruns the earthquake was named "Ward," they had either two reactions: "Oh hey, that's Hines Ward, wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers," or "I have no idea who Hines Ward is, so that's a reference to Robin's status as Batman's ward!"
The other reference was most likely the work of a crafty background actor. Among the fans in the stadium, one person held up a large "R" that spelled out the team name "Rogues." Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the "R" resembles the stylized one used for the Robin logo, but as Empire pointed out, most of the 10,000 extras for that scene brought their own props to set.
Did Catwoman steal Mrs. Wayne's pearls? Reddit user "mpty" noticed something interesting while rewatching "Batman Begins." The pearls Selina Kyle dons in the trailer resemble the set Thomas Wayne shows young Bruce in the original movie. This could be the first we see of Catwoman's famous hobby, burglary. So much of her portrayal in the trailer focuses on her advocacy for the 99 percent. This may be the first hint at the other side of Ms. Kyle.
Is there a flashback to "Batman Begins"-era Bruce Wayne? Christian Bale speaks his only line in the trailer while wearing clothes and sporting a beard that haven't been around since his early days as a world traveler. He looks very similar to how he did during his training with the League of Shadows. We know the last film in the trilogy doubles back to cover some territory from the first movie; perhaps we're seeing that here.

We do one hour at least, whenever I'm free?two times a week, three times a week, if I'm really lucky four?we do weights, and little bit of cardio."
As for her Colombian beauty secrets, Sofia dished, "I would never be without lipstick. I remember my mother would always tell me, 'Put some lipstick on.' Because you look well put-together. And I realize, all my Colombian friends are like that."

Beyonce Slinks Around In 'Dance For You' Teases

Beyoncé just wants to "Dance for You" in new teases for her 4 album track. The sexy video will be featured in the deluxe edition of Queen B's "Live at Roseland" DVD special, out November 29.
In two clips posted on Aceshowbiz.com, Beyoncé dons hot pants, garters and a slinky wrap dress as she performs a sexy dance routine on a desk. The video has a film noir vibe, as a private eye-type character watches Beyoncé as she dances. In the other tease, Beyoncé, in the same outfit, dances seductively in front of a chair as the camera cuts to the detective fellow watching her.
"Dance for You" is one of three tracks featured as bonus material on the deluxe version of 4, along with "Lay Up Under Me" and "Schoolin' Life." The track was produced by The-Dream and features writing credits from Tricky Stewart as well as Beyoncé. It's a sexy R&B jam about keeping things hot with her man. On it, she sings, "Tonight I'm gonna dance for you/ Tonight I'm gonna dance for you/ Tonight I'm gonna put my body on your body/ Boy, I like it when you watch me/ Tonight it's going down."
"Live at Roseland" was filmed in August over four shows performed at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City. It features Beyoncé recounting anecdotes about her career while she performs some of her older tracks, before launching into a nonstop performance of 4 played straight through.
The standard edition of "Live at Roseland" hit shelves this week, along with concert specials from Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift. Adele also drops her "Live at Royal Albert Hall" DVD on November 29.

Ke$ha Drops Lil Wayne, T.I., Wiz Khalifa 'Sleazy' Remix

As promised, Ke$ha and her boys Lil Wayne, T.I., Wiz Khalifa and Andre 3000 dropped a new remix of "Sleazy" on Tuesday (December 13).
The Bangladesh-produced song originally appeared on K-Dollar's 2010 Cannibal album before a remix featuring Andre popped up earlier this year. The latest version of the song is available for purchase and is all over blogs like Rap-Up.com. The song gets a bit dirtier and introspective thanks to verses from the guys that play up the track's bumping beat.
Wiz kicks it off, rapping about designer clothes and his lady love, Amber Rose. "OK, I'm young and I'm tatted/ I get them bucks like an addict/ Rocking this Christian Dior/ I spend so much on my fabric/ I got a wifey at home/ And what she wants she can have it," he spits before going on about chilling on the beach, being rich and his prowess in the bedroom.
Sitting in between Wiz and Tip is Andre's recycled verse, before T.I. gets his shot and gets sexy, asking Ke$ha, "Do you know what to do with me?" before he launches into a verse all about how good he is to the ladies. "Bad bitches know me/ So don't bother introducing me/ They want me more than diamonds," he brags before explaining that it has a lot to do with his impressive anatomy.
Wayne closes it out, adding his own signature flair. "We be on that sh-- that no one be on/ That's what we on/ Smoke that neon, Kings of Leon/ Dynamite, Napoleon/ Got some skinnies and a tee on/ And some Vans," he rhymes about his famous sense of Weezy-fied style before the song circles back to the funky chorus, where Ke$ha declares that she doesn't "need you or your brand-new Benz/ Or your bougie friends/ I don't need love lookin' like diamonds/ Lookin' like diamonds."
If any of K's fans or critics were wondering if she has the swagger to chill with the guys, she displayed some of her sass when she tweeted about the remix. "Question ANIMALS ... who can say they got with Lil Wayne, T.I., Andre 3000 and Wiz Khalifa on a f---ing hot track??" she asked. "ill give u one clue ... Its $."

Pet Tags
Man, I'm so irritated.
I just received four pets tags that I ordered for Bev and Mary Margaret (two for Brooklyn and two for LA) and they're all messed up. Not only did they leave off the "Margaret" on Mary Margaret's tags, but the text isn't centered correctly and runs off the right side on all four of them. (The last letter of the address is cut in half.) The tags themselves are also ugly. The edges aren't smoothed out... they look like someone just cut them from a piece of sheet metal and called it a day.
So anyway, I got them this morning on my way to Starbucks (yesterday's mail), so while I was there, I started drafting a strongly-worded letter in my head, like what I was going to say to these people when I sent them back.
And then I saw it.
In tiny print on the bottom of the invoice it said, "Our handicapped employees appreciate your order."
So now I can't send them back. If I did I'd be a total asshole.
I'm just going to order new ones from someplace else. Any recommendations?

'New Girl,' 'Revenge' Sneak In Golden Globe TV Nods
'American Horror Story' is another new show that received surprise nominations.

Sure, "30 Rock," "Modern Family" and "Glee" all received Golden Globe nominations on Thursday (December 15), but a bunch of brand-new shows also find themselves up for statues at the broadcast. "New Girl," "American Horror Story" and even America's newest guilty pleasure, "Revenge," all nabbed some kind of nod.
The Comedy/ Musical Series nomination for Fox's Zooey Deschanel vehicle "New Girl" is a bit of a surprise. The rookie sitcom follows Actress - Comedy nominee Deschanel as she plays a recently heartbroken schoolteacher who moves in with three single guys. From there, wackiness ensues.
A win for Deschanel (who goes up against heavy-hitters like Tina Fey, Laura Linney and Amy Poehler) would bring some fresh blood to the broadcast. While it's commendable that new shows are getting recognized, it's surprising that Poehler managed to earn a nomination for her turn as Leslie Knope but that "Parks and Recreation" wasn't nominated in the Comedy/ Musical Series category.
Living on the polar opposite spectrum, FX's creepy, soapy "American Horror Story" is an unexpected contender in the Drama Series category.
The show is a frightening look at relationships and suburbia, where sometimes the decisions made by the living turn out to be more frightening than the things that go bump in the night. Jessica Lange is up for Supporting Actress.
Can the show beat out a show like "Boardwalk Empire" or "Game of Thrones"? Probably not, but it's nice recognition for one of TV's most compelling new series. If anything, Lange's portrayal of L.A.'s nosiest neighbor, Constance, deserves some love.
Madeleine Stowe probably won't take home a trophy for her portrayal of the lovably evil Victoria Grayson on "Revenge" in the Best Actress - Television Series Drama category, but her nomination comes as a delightful acknowledgement of that show's undeniable ability to keep viewers entertained week after week as they tune in to see what happens to the Hamptons' richest and most powerful.
The most predictable nods, perhaps, go to critical favorites and awards-show darlings like "30 Rock," "Mildred Pierce," "The Big Bang Theory" and "Modern Family." But what does come as a surprise is the fact that "Breaking Bad" was snubbed in the Drama Series category, given the show's critical praise and fan fervor.
Hosted by Ricky Gervais for the third straight time, the Golden Globe Awards will air on Sunday, January 15, on NBC.

Ke$ha Wants 'Till The World Ends' Remix To 'Take Over Airwaves'

Earlier this week, Britney Spears, Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj dropped their femme-fatale-friendly remix of the Spears club track "Till the World Ends." The already fun song got super-charged thanks to Minaj's cutting verses and Ke$ha's recognizable vocals.
"I'm a massive fan of both the ladies I share the track with," K told MTV News on Wednesday at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards. "I wrote 'TTWE' for Britney with [producers] Dr. Luke and Max [Martin] and she killed it and I loved it, but I just thought a supergroup of three hot, strong women could just take over the airwaves."
Ke$ha went on to give props to both the ladies. "I'm such a massive fan of Britney and I'm such a massive supporter of Nicki and a fan, and chicks sometimes don't team up. I don't know why, but I'm, like, huge on the girl power, so I just wanted to make a power girl track take over."
The remix quickly won praise from fans who seem to think the new features step up the song's game. "You know, with the three of us, I wasn't necessarily surprised [people like it] because I'm such a massive fan of Nicki Minaj and obviously with Britney I'm a fan of it, [taking] myself out of the equation," she said. "I'm just happy people like it."
So did Ke$ha (who once sang backup for Spears) feel any pressure writing a song for Britney? "There was no pressure. Writing for somebody else is really fun 'cause I consider myself a songwriter first and foremost," she explained. "So it was so much fun to put my brain in the sexy Britney Spears brain and express myself almost as if I were possessed by her."

Critics weren't wowed by director Guy Ritchie's 2009 original, and this time around is no different.

Robert Downey Jr.'s steampunk take on the classic literary detective returns for a new mystery in "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows."
The first film from 2009 didn't exactly wow the critics, and the sequel is no exception. The mixed response ranges from "better than the first" to "one of the worst of the year," but the chemistry between Downey and Jude Law earned the critics' highest complements.
We've rounded up some of the best reviews to give you a sense what the critics are saying:
The Story
"As the film opens, Watson is paying a visit to his occasional partner in solving crimes. His wedding to Mary (Kelly Reilly) is fast approaching and Holmes is to be his best man. The intrigues begin in earnest with the bachelor party Holmes throws at an eccentric gentleman's club, in which none of Dr. Watson's pals show up but two new characters do — a very wry Stephen Fry as Holmes' brother, Mycroft, and a Gypsy fortuneteller Madam Simza Heron, played by Noomi Rapace. Mumford & Sons Call New Album 'A Different Experience'
'It's challenging in all the right ways,' Marcus Mumford tells MTV News about the band's Sigh No More follow-up.

Mumford & Sons have spent most of 2011 working on the follow-up to their breakout Sigh No More album (when they weren't touring the U.S. by rail, of course). Though they've been performing a handful of new songs live, last month they officially unveiled a somber new tune called "Ghosts" during a stop at a Philadelphia radio station.
But as the year draws to a close, there's still no official release date (or even a title) for the new album, which sort of makes sense, especially since they're still working on it, as the band told MTV News backstage at the KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas in Los Angeles.
"We're still recording. We don't really like to put any boundaries on it; we'll keep going until it's right," frontman Marcus Mumford said. "It's definitely a different experience from the first one, as it should be, I think. But it's been challenging in all the right ways. It's going well.
"I think we just want the songs to be good, and to sound right, and to feel like we've expressed everything we want to as straightforwardly and honestly as we can ... and we're working towards that," he continued.
"We're really enjoying playing the new songs live, and we still feel that our recorded work should be adverts for our live work. The fact that we call it work is a bit pretentious — it's not work, it's just playing music with your mates. It's really fun, and it still is. I think we're getting on better than we ever have."
Mumford said that the songs on the new album have been inspired by their whirlwind year, which not only saw them break through in the U.S., but found them going to places they never thought they'd go and meeting the kinds of folks they never thought they'd meet.
"We've been writing as we go, and you can't deny the fact that our circumstances around us will always affect our writing, so we sometimes intentionally put ourselves in circumstances that we want to be inspired by," he explained. "We went to Nashville for a couple weeks in January and did some really cool writing there; we felt really happy with some of the stuff that came out of it. We stayed in this little farmhouse and had some friends who are musicians come play with us. We played a house show, just had a really nice time. And then we write on the road in these hectic places with lots of people around, and I suppose we've always put in ideas that we pick up from conversations with people, and things that we read and things that we listen to and feel."
Of course, there's also good news for fans of Sigh No More: From the sound of things, the follow-up isn't going to stray all that far from that debut. In fact, it's basically the same songs. After all, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
"If you're asking whether they're different from the first album," multi-instrumentalist Ben Lovett laughed, "what we've actually done is taken all the songs from the first album, used all the same chords, some of the same melodies, and just tweaked the lyrics!"

Lady Gaga, Bono, Usher To Headline Bill Clinton Foundation Fundraiser
October 15 show will be streamed live over the Internet.

Even a dozen years removed from the White House, former president Bill Clinton still has that same superstar-attracting aura. That might explain why such bright lights as Lady Gaga, Bono and The Edge of U2, and Usher have signed on to perform at an October 15 party for Clinton at the Hollywood Bowl.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, details on the final list of performers and presenters are still being worked on, but an impressive list of movie and TV personalities are expected to sign on for the event, which is being billed as a celebration of the 10-year anniversary of Clinton's nonprofit William J. Clinton Foundation.
To date, the foundation has raised more than $10 billion for some of the ex-president's most cherished causes, including HIV/AIDS treatment, economic empowerment, food aid and global health initiatives. The show, which will also serve as a birthday party celebration for the former Democratic leader (who turned 65 on August 19), will be broadcast exclusively by Yahoo, which will stream "A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation" worldwide to a potential audience of millions.
Clinton continues to travel the world doing good works, though he turned his attention homeward over the weekend when he participated in the 10th anniversary ceremonies of the September 11 terror attacks. He announced on Sunday that he will team with Republican House Speaker John Boehner in a bipartisan effort to raise the final $10 million needed to complete the Fight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.

CHANGE UP: Fantasia's Rep Confirms Baby Born In North Carolina
Even though Fantasia's rep says her baby was not officially born at the time many media outlets reported, it has been confirmed her baby boy is here now.

Fantasia's rep at The Chamber Group confirms she gave birth at a North Carolina hospital around 5:15p ET today (Tuesday) after going into labor yesterday. Her baby boy, named Dallas Xavier Barrino, weighed in at 7lbs, 9 ounces and 21 inches long.
She commented:
"I feel so blessed that my son Dallas Xavier was born healthy, and is a wonderful new addition to our family. I thank all my fans for their well wishes and continued support."
This will be the first child together for Fantasia and on-again-off-again married boyfriend Antwaun Cook, who was reportedly by her side during birth. But it will be Antwaun's third child and Fantasia's second.

Nicki Minaj's 'Super Bass' Is MTV's #2 Song Of 2011!
Nicki's bouncy hit ruled radio and left a cultural impact.

It wasn't Pink Friday's first single — hell, it wasn't even technically on the album's proper track list! — but Nicki Minaj's "Super Bass" was voted #2 on MTV's Best Songs of 2011 list.
Though Nicki's album was released in November 2010, "Super Bass" — which was produced by Kane Beatz and co-written by Ester Dean — didn't emerge as a single until May. The decision to drop the track as the album's seventh single was a no-brainer. After being prompted to request a song during a radio interview with Nashville's 107.5, Taylor Swift answered, "Can I play album cuts?" She then began to explain to listeners how she had been listening to "Super Bass" on repeat, before Swift rapped lyrics to the song on air.
Nicki would go on to credit Swift with helping make the song popular and even performed it with the country star during an August concert at L.A.'s Staples Center. "Taylor Swift did her little interview about 'Super Bass,' and [it] took off in the States with the people sort of knowing it," Minaj said in an interview with L.A. radio station 102.7 KIIS-FM. "It's just really uncanny how all that stuff happens," she added. "We didn't plan it like that."
The Pink Friday bonus song from the album's deluxe edition had all the right ingredients. There's the bright and airy guitar intro, which eventually builds into a full pop affair complete with a knocking 808 and, of course, that patented bass drum. Lyrically, Nicki threw a shout-out to 1980s rap legend Slick Rick and threatened to slap a chick all in an effort to woo her drug-dealing crush. Typically, cheery-sounding pop hits aren't so edgy, but the Harajuku Barbie has successfully elbowed her way into the spotlight alongside starlets like Katy Perry and Taylor Swift — and has done it her way.
"Super Bass" peaked at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #2 on the rap chart, but more than its chart positioning was the song's impact. One YouTube search of "Super Bass" will uncover the VMA-winning video for the single, of course, but also thousands of covers from artists like Selena Gomez and Karmin with ?uestlove and various renditions from fans as well. Who can forget the pink princess Sophia Grace Brownlee's cute performance vid which eventually clocked over 25 million views? The clip became so popular that in October, Ellen DeGeneres invited the young Sophia onto her television show and introduced her to Minaj, making one of the year's most memorable television moments.
If you had a pulse in 2011, surely you felt that boom-ba-boom-boom bass!
